Archaeological excavation research

To attract tourists by centering Tamil culture, the following initiatives will be implemented. Folk art performances will be held every evening at 10 major tourist sites. Rural tourism centres offering a rural living experience will be created. Night markets selling craft items made by local artisans will be set up near all cultural tourism sites. Tamil cultural festivals will be held during tourist seasons including the summer holidays.
