Not started
Promised

Doorstep ration delivery: Giving priority to the elderly, persons with disabilities, and marginalised people, ration goods will be delivered to their homes. Nutrient-rich food items: To prevent the public from being affected by anaemia and vitamin A and B-12 deficiencies, iron and folic-acid-fortified rice, vitamin A and vitamin D-fortified cooking oil, and fortified wheat flour will be distributed to everyone through ration shops. Through this, a healthy Tamil Nadu free of nutritional deficiency will be created. Packeted ration goods: To prevent underweighting, low quality, adulteration, and smuggling of ration goods, and so that quality goods reach the public at fair weight, all ration goods other than rice will be distributed in packets. End to adulteration: Strict quality testing will be done at every stage of the public distribution system. Through this, it will be ensured that unadulterated, quality goods are distributed to the people. Increase in ration shops: One ration shop will be set up for every 500 ration cards. Through this, crowding will be avoided and service quality ensured. Through this, everyone can obtain ration goods easily. Appointment of weighers: A sufficient number of weighers will be appointed at every rural ration shop. Women employees will be appointed for women, and men employees for men.
