Police welfare scheme

A law to reform police welfare and working conditions will be introduced, and weekly leave will be granted on a rotational basis. The police washing allowance will be raised from ₹500 to ₹1,000. Police welfare hospitals will be set up in districts including Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Salem and Vellore.
