Dignified women's scheme
Every female head of household will have ₹2,500 credited to her bank account every month until she reaches the age of 60. Through this, female heads of household will no longer have to depend on others for their basic expenses, and their economic independence will be safeguarded.

The June instalment of ₹1,000 was credited to about 1.31 crore women under the Madhippumigu Magalir Thittam name - the second payout under Vijay. The promised increase to ₹2,500 has not yet been implemented.
