Rail connectivity route project

Railway connectivity routes in Tamil Nadu continue to be neglected by Union governments. The Tindivanam - Tiruvannamalai line, the Thoothukudi-Madurai line via Aruppukkottai, and the fourth line between Tambaram - Chengalpattu have been announced but remain without funds allocated. The TVK government will prepare a 'Tamil Nadu Rail Connectivity Route Project' and will urge the Union government to implement and complete the project within a specified timeframe.
