செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு, க்வாண்டம் கம்ப்யூட்டிங், பயோடெக், காலநிலை தொழில்நுட்பம், விண்வெளித் தொழில்நுட்பம், சைபர் செக்யூரிட்டி என வளர்ந்துவரும் தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் சார்ந்த பட்டப்படிப்புகள் பயில Periyar Institute of Emerging Technologies (PIET) உருவாக்கப்படும். இந்த பல்கலைக் கழகம் உலகின் முன்னணி பல்கலைக்கழகங்களோடும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனங்களோடும் இணைந்து செயல்படும்.To study degree courses related to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotech, climate technology, space technology and cyber security, the Periyar Institute of Emerging Technologies (PIET) will be created.
