Tax concessions will be given to private owners who convert Chettinad houses, Nilgiris bungalows, and similar buildings reflecting Tamil heritage and culture into guest stays. Furthermore, to restore those heritage buildings, a 50 percent incentive of the cost incurred will be provided by the government.
