Nilgiris mountain adventure tourism

A Nilgiris mountain adventure tourism plan will be implemented with 15 trekking trails identified at Ooty, Coonoor, Gudalur, Kotagiri, and Mudumalai. Every year a Nilgiris Mountain Biking Festival will be held without harming the environment. Through a government-private joint effort, paragliding sites will be set up at three locations in Ooty. Facilities for kayaking on the Moyar River will be provided.
