Law to protect transgender welfare and dignity

To protect the welfare of transgender people, the following schemes will be introduced. A consolidated allowance of ₹3000 will be provided. Skill development training will be given so that transgender people can obtain employment. Help will be provided to form self-help groups and to create self-employment opportunities.
