All anganwadi workers will be converted to 'Grade-D' government employees and on that basis will be paid a monthly salary of ₹18,000. Likewise, a monthly salary of ₹10,000 will be guaranteed for anganwadi helpers and for ASHA workers who carry out health-awareness work.
