For women's safety, the existing Kaaval (Kavalan) app will be upgraded, and a 'smart panic button' will be fitted in all vehicles across Tamil Nadu including buses and share autos. This will be linked to AI technology and monitored 24 hours. CCTV cameras linked to AI technology will be installed at key public places. All unsafe, low-footfall locations will be identified and appropriate safety features put in place there.
