Assistance for pregnant women

A financial assistance of Rs 25,000 will be given to pregnant women to help them buy the nutritious food they need, undergo monthly medical check-ups, and meet essential needs. Service and support centres for pregnant women named 'Thaai Care' will be set up across the state. Pregnant women can stay and benefit at these centres as their delivery date approaches. At these centres, pregnant women will be provided free food and medical aid, continuous medical monitoring, and related services.
