Reducing produce wastage at procurement centres

Paddy and other procured produce, including vegetables, food grains and spices, will be properly handled and protected at all procurement centres, cluster hubs and storage silos. Through this, post-harvest losses will be reduced. Accurate weighing and storage data will be properly maintained. Likewise, it will be ensured that not a single paisa of commission is taken for procuring, loading or unloading sacks at procurement centres. Whoever takes such a commission will face severe action.
