Minimum support price guarantee for paddy and sugarcane

A minimum support price of Rs 3,500 per quintal for paddy and Rs 4,500 per tonne for sugarcane will be given. When the market price of turmeric, sugarcane, paddy, copra coconut and others falls, the government will bear that loss too. All these funds, including the support price amount and the market loss compensation, will be paid directly into farmers' bank accounts.
