Upgradation of fishing harbours

At fishing harbours across Tamil Nadu, infrastructure will be created including cold storage to preserve processed fish, a facility to convert toxic waste into useful fish feed (Bio Floc Technology), and cage fish farming. A trade chain free of middlemen will be created between fishermen and fish traders. Modern processing centres will be set up at all fish landing centres.
