Kamarajar special schools

For students from socially and economically backward families who excel in education, 100 elite schools will be opened across Tamil Nadu. In these schools, education, food, accommodation, textbooks and uniforms will be provided free of charge to students studying from class 6 to class 12. Of these 100 schools, 50 schools will be set up exclusively for girl students.
