In the forests of Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem and Erode districts, a 50-km-long solar energy corridor for tribal people, 500 forest protection officers engaging in protection duty at night with GPS-connected vehicles, Rs.10 lakh relief for people killed by wild animals, and Rs.5 lakh relief for those severely injured will be provided. Relief will be provided immediately for crop losses.
